Runs and drives excellent, no noises of anykind, and no smoke from the original numbers matching engine. The engine startsright up and runs smoothly. The odometer reflects the original mileage. Thefront has been upgraded to oem style power disc brakes, and 15" rally wheelswith new tires have been added. The fuel system has been replaced and theoriginal carburetor has been professionally rebuilt and ceramic coated and onlymarine fuel (ethanol free) has been used since. The ignition retains the factorystyle points and has been completely rebuilt. The factory style externalregulated alternator has been rebuilt and upgraded in output for worry freeoperation of power convertible top, and any future sound system upgrades, evenat idle speed. The 2 speed powerglide transmission shifts perfectly. Theoriginal radio has been redesigned and upgraded to 180 watts, multi-channel andpre-amp outputs, bluetooth, phone connection, ipod input, and full digital am/fmoperation, all retaining the original oem radio body and function. The repaintand top is 10 years old and has a few chips (see photos) but is in excellentcondition for driving. The interior is in fantastic condition with two-tone bluevinyl seating. All lights and gauges function as new. The power top is inexcellent condition and raises and lowers perfectly. The car was just alignedwhen the brakes were completed, and drives perfectly straight like new. Thedoors have zero sag, and close correctly. The trunk is clean and is rust freejust some old stains. 1966 corvette cp 427 4 speed car 425 hp according to current owner. Originallylaguna blue with dark blue vinyl interior. Two owner car, drag raced since new. No engine or transmission, original frame is altered to handle shortened dana 60rear, no gears in housing, and new 15 x 15 centerline wheels and mickey thompsontires, also new. Rear wheel wells have been somewhat radiused, fire wallsmoothed over except where master cylinder is located and nose moderatelycustomized. One bucket seat, pedals in place, vin tag and other plate in place. Not original paint or color some peeling but not cracked up. Real nice originalwood telescopic steering wheel and column. No door panels, dash pad still inplace, no wiring harness, no stock gauges, body suspended from garage ceilingand doors open and close ok, windshield has a crack, rest of glass ok, winds upand down. Hood's been cut up for scoop, rear valance nice, front endsuspension looks nice, front mag wheels and tires. Rear bumpers need rechromed. All body mounting bolts and rubbers in box. Drag strip name is tree climber seeside of door, a caricature of a vette gasser lined up at the starting tree. Wasset up as a gasser with straight front end no longer available. I amrepresenting this for a friend of mine, i will do the best to covey accurateinformation.

1966 chevrolet impala or impala ss very clean 2 owner car. First owner had it for 36 years and ive owned it for 13 years. Car has been garage kept its entire life. 90% all original. Most original components have been kept. Painted twice its life. Original color was lemonwood yellow, but last paint was with a color almost identical but with a slight change to make it look a little more up-to-date. Its a driver, but can be shown as well. Numbers matching 396 and powerglide. Approximately 2,000 miles on engine. Leather Seats✔ Chrome Wheels

That opinion comes from many, many years of inspecting these cars for purchase, attending car shows etc., and i have never found one as nice and solid as this car. The engine was changed out for preservation, and the front suspension was replaced for added safety and handling. For those originality purists out there, the original l79 engine and front end components are available if desired. The reserve on this vehicle is set for the car as it is configured and all the original components will be included with the sale. I will lower the reserve if a bidder just wants the car as is without the original engine and front end.

1966 was the first year for the caprice coupe. This beauty has a fresh coat of its original and exotic aztec bronze paint. The fawn interior is also consistent with the nameplate. The seats are almost perfect; there are no tares or stains. I believe it is in better than everyday driver shape. The engine is a chevy 5. 0l. All cylinders have great compression and there are no oil leaks. Tires and battery are brand new. New weather stripping. All chrome and molding is original so it may show signs of fading or pitting.
